TFTP DHCP Snooping Database

We have a mix of 3500yl and 5406zl switches. I've started to configure the switches to tftp the dhcp snooping database to our PCM+ server. After issuing the command 'dhcp-snooping database file tftp://xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx/switchname' the switch successfully sends the file after the default delay time of 300 seconds, but I don't see any tftp transers after that. When does a new tranfer get triggered, or is this a one-time command that needs to be scheduled?

Re: TFTP DHCP Snooping Database

the normal state of operation is if there is a change in the ip<-->mac addr mapping that dhcp-snooping builds/reads (as mac addr request an addr via dhcp), then it will note a change a write out in the time window...

Re: TFTP DHCP Snooping Database

Thanks for the reply. Had I been patient I would've seen and figured this out myself. I am now seeing transfers (after the delay) whenever the binding database on the switch is changed.
