The best way to implement switch redundancy in routed VLAN environment

We have 2 core switches HP9304. Redundancy is implemented via SRP between HP9304. Servers are connected to core switches via a pair of HP5304 switches. Some servers are connected to 1 HP5304, another to 2 HP5304. As I can see HP5304 is a single point of failure. Now HP5304 works as a layer 2 switch. We want to use HP5304 as a layer 3 switch.
May we do such thing as:
-servers are connected to both HP5304.
-HP5304 implements redundancy with XRRP
-each HP5304 is connected to both HP9304
-HP9304 implements redundancy with SRP ?

Hi Maxim,
bevor you decide to use HP 530x as layer 3 switches, please visit the thread "slow/unstable performance on 530x".
SFT ( Switch Fault Tolerance ) looks like that feature you are looking for. But that is not only a switch feature.
Visit Intel for more information
