Trunk port member of all VLANs

Hi,

Is it possible to configure a trunk port to be automatically member of every configured VLAN?

I'm familiar with Juniper Networks EX series switches where I can configure a trunk port this way:

set interfaces ge-0/0/0 unit 0 family ethernet-switching port-mode trunk vlan members all

The advantage of that method is that in case an new VLAN is intruduced in the network, I can ommit to add the port as trunk member to the vlan what saves a little bit of extra work :-)

Kind regards,
Dominik

Not easily. You could configure all
of your switches to use GVRP

which is similar to Cisco's VTP.

Hi Bruce,

Thanks for your response. If it's not possible, I can continue to configure the trunk port as well.

Kind regards,
