Trunking in 5412zl to support Netapp Storage teaming
Hi,
We are currently using Procurve 5412zl and Netapp Storage. We are going to configure Netapp storage ethernet interface into trunk mode (2 ethernet interface trunk/team together). According to Netapp, for Cisco switch users, we need to enable "trunking" on the ports to which the Netapp is going to be connected. However, for Procurve switch, we do not see such options. When it comes to configuring ports, we only have options Untagged, Tagged, Forbid and No. I have done trunking/tagging in procurve switches before but that is "switch-to-switch" connection, never done any such thing for servers or storage devices. How do I go about enabling this "trunking mode" in procurve switch? Or is the feature supported and enabled by default on all ports? Thanks.

Re: Trunking in 5412zl to support Netapp Storage teaming
Should be very straight forward, do the same thing as you would do if connecting two switches together via an aggregated link.
e.g. 5412(config)# trunk a1-a2 trk1 trunk
e.g. 5412(config)# trunk a1-a2 trk1 trunk
