USB 2.0>Firewire

I got the Presario 2100 and it came with usb 1.1 (I think) and firewire. Well, my external drive is usb 2.0. Can I connect the usb 2.0 HDD to the firewire with an adapter

Maybe there is an adapter available, but why not connect through usb?

You'd better get an usb 2.0 to 1.1 adapter, easy to find, and works for sure !
