USB Docking Stations
Hiya,
We have 2 HP laptops with HP USB 2.0 docking stations and they both have the same problem.
What is happening is that the user logon is being handled from the cache I think because the docking station is not being detected soon enough. This means they get no printers, drive mappings etc as the logon scripts are not being applied. Logging off and straight back on fixes the issue.
Is this a knonwn issue and is there a way round it?
Thanks

Re: USB Docking Stations
I ran into the same issue today with a client's laptop that was just recently repaired. I ended up updating the bios and that resolved the issue for us. Give it a try, it can't hurt.

Re: USB Docking Stations
Nope, updating the BIOS hasn't solved the problem for us.
Any more ideas? I've tried changing the binding order of the network cards to give the USB one priority, but that had no effect either.
Thanks
