Re: Upgrade advice - Take a quick look and please give me yours!
Hi
I know from one of our associates that they replaced HP in the core in favor of Extreme (Summit 450), due to price per port and other issues. You might want to check out their equivalent to Meshing, EAPS. I haven't really digged into this, but at least price per port should be easy to calculate. I know that EAPS works very well, also at big ISPs.

Re: Upgrade advice - Take a quick look and please give me yours!
Don't know if you'll get notified on this update, and sorry for not closing out sooner. Thank you very much for your input. For the record, we did go with the 5400zl series. They've been in production about a year, currently running as just a flat L2 network with HP meshing. Rolled that out prior to deploying VoIP, and got a better-than-expected deal with the trade-in program. There's lots more to do, but these have run flawlessly since putting them in. That, plus the performance gives me plenty of room to attend to other things. Thanks again for your kind assistance, and my apologies for not getting that and some points to you sooner!
