VLAN Trunking with a CISCO WAP

All, I have inherited a 3COM switch environment, but have installed some Cisco 1240AG WAP's and now need to send 2 VLAN's to the WAP's, one for Production and one for Guests. On a Cisco switch, the configuration is clear, however, on the 3COM 3C17204 units, you can only tag or untag the ports with the VLAN's, no trunk configuration. When I mark my port as untagged for my Default VLAN(1), everything is fine, but when I tag the port for VLAN's 1,4 (DSL), I cannot connect to the second VLAN from the AP (ssid=Guest). I have double checked the configuration on the AP and even tested it on another unit with he same results, so I am leaning toward the SS3 not being able to handle it. Any ideas or suggestions?????

A cisco "trunk" is just the same as one untagged vlan and one or more tagged vlans. Just configure both side the same and all should work.

What about when it's the other way around: Cisco switches and HP WAPs?

Same thing. They both use standard 802.1Q vlan tagging.
