VLAN betwen 2 2848 switches
Hi,
We need to isolate traffic between 2 2848 switches. What is the easiest and best way to this. We are new on networking so please include some examples in your replay.

Re: VLAN betwen 2 2848 switches
Hi,
I suppose you don't have the option for two more switches and a fiber. That would result in real isolated subnets.
The second best would be to create two vlans on either switch. One for each network. Tag both vlans on the uplink of both switches.
Do not turn on inter-vlan routing (ip routing) and 'terminate' the vlans on the firewall.
