VOIP Vlans

Hi

I have recently setup 2 Procurve 2610-48PWR switches for use with our new VOIP system (Avaya Comms Manager) and I am having problems with call quality.

Both switches are setup with a seperate vlan for voice (10). The qos is set to 6 and I have also used the voice command. I have read that the vlan ports need to be tagged, but mine are untagged as they do not connect to the voice switch if they are tagged.

Could someone point me in the right direction?

Cheers.

Re: VOIP Vlans

Hi

I have attached my config.

"Ground Phone" is attached to my backbone switch on port 50 and to "Upper Phone" on port 49. The Avaya Comms Manager is patched into port 43 on "Upper Phone". I have my DHCP patched into port 1 on "Ground Phone".

Hope that is enough info?
Cheers.
