Vlan over switches
Here are my configurations.
switch 2626:
IP routing: on
vlan 1: untagged trk1 (21, 23), trk2 (22, 24)
vlan 2: untagged 1,3,5,7,9,11,13,15,17,19,25
tagged trk1
vlan 3: untagged 2,4,6,8,10,12,14,16,18,20,26 tagged trk2
Then seperatly with terminal program over serical cable I cofigured
switch 3400:
IP routing: On
vlan 1: untagged trk1 (21, 22), trk2 (23, 24)
vlan 2: untagged 1, 3, 5, 7, 9, 11, 13, 15, 17, 19 tagged trk1
vlan 3: untagged 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, 12, 14, 16, 18, 20 tagged trk2
I have IP adresses 10.130.140.220 - 10.130.140.239.
default gateway is 10.130.140.10
Switches are configured so switch 2626 has uplink and switch 3400 is connected to 2626. Vlan 3 wont work. whats wrong?

Probably because it's very hard to determine your setup from the description you've given. It would be easier if you posted up a copy of your configs on each switch and a diagram outlining how they are inter-connected with the trunks labelled as to which switch they connect to.

please post a "show running-config" from each switch and make a drawing of the physical setup for us.
