I seem to recall reading that magic packets won't pass thru ProCurve 2600 series switches without a certain CLI command, even with the router having directed broadcast turned on. Am I getting old, is this not the case and my memory failing me?
Thanks!
Thanks!

Hi Preston,
I don't recall any limitation like that. In a routed environment you will need to to enable the directed broadcast, but other than that I haven't heard of anything... (I've also never tested it either)

Re: Wake-On-LAN for 2600 series?
Pefect...I misunderstood the original post (that was the one I was referring to) - we're not using the switches to route so we're good in that regard. Thanks!
