Watchdog Timer expired error. Procurve 2524 reboots every night around 10am.
I have recently installed Procurve Manager + v.4. When I updated to the latest patch, a number of my older 2524 switches would reboot with a bus error when PCM+ discovery ran . I resolved this by updating all the affected switches to the latest firmware. However, now I have one switch that will reboot every night at approximately 10:01pm, which is when PCM+ runs its daily discovery. The error I receive in the event log is:
M 03/17/13 22:01:22 sys: 'Watchdog timer expired: IP=0x000ee000 Task='mSnmpCtr'
None of my other 2524 switches have this issue, so I even re-installed the latest firmware on this particular switch to make sure it applied correctly, but the problem still exists. I can't find any info regarding this error, so any help would be greatly appreciated.
