When restarting Proliant server with teamed NIC excessive broadcast occur

Hi

When I am restarting a Proliant server with CPQteamed NIC's excessive broadcasts occur on the network. I'm using HP proliant DL380 servers and a HP Procurve 5308xl. I'm currently running with AUTO(recommended) teaming settings, and no additional setup in the switch. But this doesn't seem to be correct. Which additional setup is required to get rid of this broadcast storms?

For the most part, those warnings can be ignored. What version is your 5308 running? When I upgraded to 10_04, almost all of those events went away.

Personally, I don't like auto anything on servers or ISLs. Better IMHO, to fix the settings.
