When stacking HP ProCurve Switch 2650 is it better to use fiber?

I have a the fiber connection adapters for my HP ProCurve Switch 2650 and need to stack two switches.

Will the fiber be better for this or is just the same as a regular cat 6?

If they are less than 100 metres apart, then I would simply go with the regular CAT6 cabling. The performance should be the same and it's going to be much cheaper.

If you already have the mini-GBICs installed you will need to remove them as the copper ports are disabled when the mini-GBICs are inserted.

They are right next to each other so saving money sounds good.
