Witch model replacing procurve 4000m?
Hi.
I will have to buy a switch soon and normaly we chose the procurve 4000m. But they are not avalable anymore. Witch model you suggest me to chose? 4100...?

I would suggest the 5300xl series as a logical follow up.

Yes.Seems to me that 41xx series are good choice for modification Your network and 4000m/8000m change . 26xx are more mightly and may bought by You ,if bigger data capacity will planned for netflow.
53xx are not so good for You if you did not planned use their routing properties .

Marc,
I would support Sietze's answer that the 5300 is the most logical. It supports Mesh (if you use a mesh with regards to the 4000M's) and with regards to the price for what you get more also regarding development and future expansion I would spend the couple of hundred euro's more on a 5300 chassis.
