additional hard disk requirement

Hi,
I have a PC model HP dx2000 with P4 2.8GHz, 1GB of RAM, 100GB hard disk space and running WIN XP OS.

1)Is it possible to additional one more hard disk with 300GB for my PC?

2) Does my PC mother board support both of hard disk with 100GB(current) and 300GB with IDE cable?

3) if PC cant support my requirement. would i buy an external Hard disk to my PC USB port ?

4) What is the minimum external hard disk space for using USP port?
