compaq workstation ap200 modem issue
i want to hook up to my roomates earthlink, but we have to go through a router. after being on the phone with earthlink, we came to the conclusion that the router's IP address is "built in?" to my computer somehow. i hooked the computer straight to the modem and the computer doesn't read the modem's IP, the router's IP is fixed in. i need to get the modem's IP fixed in. make any sense??
