configure two catalyst switch 2960-24TT

I need to configure two catalyst switch 2960-24TT to act a fail over switch. What type of protocol do I use???

I'll have two bacbone for two switch. And i want it plug at same time without any loop problem.

Does anybody here to help me out? What command on CLI shoud i program?
