different Subnet and same Port working issue.

I have different subnet and i want to use same port on both the subnet so whether it is possible or not.?

for the network it is no problem to use multiple subnets on the same lan.
devices within each subnet can communicate with eachother. (keyword : multinet).

But both subnets cannot communicate with one-another without a router making the connection.
