how to cable for stacking 2910al

Hi I have 8 2910al switches that II want to stack using the interconnect kit j9165a, there is no documents with the kits so How do  cable between the switches and do I need to set up any thing on the switches for trunking etc

  1. Plan what you intend to do!
  2. Plug it all all in (modules + cables) [maybe not the cables yet- depends on what your network looks like --> spanning tree and loop issues]
  3. check the config - you should now have a new port (A1) in each switch in VLAN1
  4. Choose your main VLAN and untag that on A1 on each switch
  5. Tag all the other VLANs on A1 on each switch that need to communicate
  6. check spanning tree, especially if you have those 8 switches in a big loop

How do I cable the switches together, the interconnect kit j9165a has two modules that plug into the back say module a is on the left and module b on right
