how to cable for stacking 2910al
Hi I have 8 2910al switches that II want to stack using the interconnect kit j9165a, there is no documents with the kits so How do cable between the switches and do I need to set up any thing on the switches for trunking etc

- Plan what you intend to do!
- Plug it all all in (modules + cables) [maybe not the cables yet- depends on what your network looks like --> spanning tree and loop issues]
- check the config - you should now have a new port (A1) in each switch in VLAN1
- Choose your main VLAN and untag that on A1 on each switch
- Tag all the other VLANs on A1 on each switch that need to communicate
- check spanning tree, especially if you have those 8 switches in a big loop

How do I cable the switches together, the interconnect kit j9165a has two modules that plug into the back say module a is on the left and module b on right
