Hi Kristian,

for Inter VLAN routing you don't need premium licence. Base licence is sufficient with this sample config:

To allow ip routing between IP subnet 10.10.10.0/24 and 20.20.20.0/24:

ip routing
vlan 10
ip address 10.10.10.254/24
vlan 20
ip address 20.20.20.254/24

Cheers,

Re: interVLAN routing on Procurve 6600-24G-4XG

Hi,

This is Naveen. I am using HP Procurve 5406zl Switch. I have a different senario in my Network. I have 3 vlans named vlan10, vlan 20 and vlan 30.
vlan 10 - 192.168.0.1/24 gateway - 192.168.0.235 (Switch ip)
vlan 20 - 10.10.10.1 /24 gateway - 10.10.10.235 (Switch Ip)
vlan 30 - 10.10.11.1/24 gateway - 10.10.11.235 (Switch ip)

->from my switch it is connected to sonicwall firewall.

->Switch gateway - 10.10.10.1 (sonicwall ip)
->Ip routing is enabled in my switch.
->I am able to ping vlan 10 and vlan 30 from vlan 20.
vlan 20 is getting internet but vlan 10 and vlan 30 not getting internet.
because it is not routing to firewall ip.

can anyone help me to resolve the issues??
where can i do the routing?? in my firewall or switch??
It will be appreciated if you give a solution for this..

Thanks
Naveen.M.S
