linkUp/linkDown messages from my ProCurve 4000

Guys,

First let me apologise for posting this twice. I originally posted it on the TopTools forum, but have since decided it would be better here.

I have recently started getting linkUp/linkDown messages from one of my ProCurve 4000 switches - about 4 a minute!
The full message is:

NO FORMAT DEFINED from (1.3.6.1.6.3.1.1.5.3.3, linkDown)

NO FORMAT DEFINED from (1.3.6.1.6.3.1.1.5.4.4, linkUp)

I'm not aware of anything happening on the network that coincided with these messages starting.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks,

Gary Cooper
