linkdown trap message

when NNM recive linkdown trap , the interface appear with its index, is there is any way to let the interface appear by its name ?

iknow that we can get its name by using snmpget .1.3.6.1.2.1.2.2.1.2.INST
but i need this value to appear in alarm message , is that possible ?

Hi, Ayman !

1. You should have better asked this question to NNM forum.

2. Open ovw. Go to Options:Event configuration. Choose OpenView Enterprise in upper part of the screen and double-click the linkdown trap in the lower part.
Modify the text message.
