Hi,
in our setup we want to be able to run both ip-phones and computers on the same ethernet port.
so a typical port to a phone have vlan 1(pc-vlan) untagged, vlan 15(ip-phone vlan) tagged.
this setup have always worked!
But since we added mac-auth via radius the phones behaves strangely, it sometimes connect and sometimes not.
We are using Procurve 2650-pwr h10.50 software.
the pc's mac-addresses are added to the group vlan1 so vlan1 is being untagged to the computers.
also the phones are added to group vlan1 because if the phone authenticates with it's mac-address i would still like vlan1 to remain utagged so the pc recieves the right vlan.
vlan 15 is statically tagged on the switchport connecting the phones.
Is this the recommended setup?
