mac based auth and addr-limit
Hi all,
I've setup switches using mac based auth and works fine so far. I want to restrict my ports to a defined number of macs and this works too which means the n+1st client is simply locked out. The point is that I don't find any log entries or counters or hints that the max number of clients is exceeded so trouble shooting becomes almost impossible as it is just about guessing. Is there some point that I missed to get the desired notification?
Best regards,
Sven

Re: mac based auth and addr-limit
try this command:
show port-access [PORT-LIST] mac-based
[|clients]
show port-access [PORT-LIST] mac-based

Re: mac based auth and addr-limit
Already done but no hint about reaching or exceeding the max number of macs. Got a reply from HP that the requested info is missing. Will be passed to the labs and perhaps considered in future release. Nevertheless thanks for the reply
