I have a procurve 2650 where I login using radius (IAS on Windows Server 2003).
I have discovered that it's not possible to use a password with more than 16 characters. Can I change that limitation somehow?
Is it related to the PAP (eventlog on the server told me that the Authentication-Type is PAP)?
Is the switch able to use also different protocols than PAP?
Thanks for any hint.

Re: maximal password length on Procurve 2650
I doubt you can use VRRP between one 8200 and one 9300 because its not the Same VRRP on both.
On the 8200 is defined in RFC 3768
Where in the 9300 is defined in RFC 2338
You can know about the the difference between the RFCs in this link:
http://www.ietf.org/rfc/rfc3768.txt
Section 13: Changes from RFC 2338
I think its better for you to get another 8200 :)
Good Luck !!!
