no access to HP ProCurve 4108GL switch

the HP ProCurve 4108G switch works fine but a cannot access the switch on the command prompt or the web interface
A can ping the switch.
do a need a reboot en what is the best way to do it ?

Can you access the switch via a console cable? I would console to the switch using putty and do a 'reload' if you need to reboot.

I would check the log also to see if the switch is hung up for some reason.

Hi

It´s possible you have other problem (it usually ocurr), and this is the IP you think is switch is of another device.
In case the IP is really of your switch, Probably you need reboot the switch, and if the problem persist, you need serial cable.
