Re: port
Hi,
Are the two VLAN's in seperate IP Subnets?
If they are, you will need to set up routing between the two, Otherwise they will not be aware of each other,
If you like, show us the config of the switch and we should be able to sort it out,
Cheers

when i run show ip route it gives out loop back ip address

Solution
I was under the impression that switch didn't had routing capabiliites, but i've been checking and actualy it does have basic routing.
i've never worked with that router but, if you enable ip routing all vlans should be able to comunicate with one another.
U can also had up to 16 static routes.
if u still are having problems, try typing "show running-config" and them copy that text to a txt file, them post your txt here, that way it will be easier for us to see what's wrong.
regards,
Hugo.
