procurve 5406zl "high collision or drop rate "

I have a problem with this error. every day i chek this switch and i see that 80% of the events are "high collision or drop rate ". this switch is one of my backbone switches.
I checked the i am updateing the fremware Version in a few days. Is this could be the problem?

Hello,

usually that means duplex/speed mismatch on port..anyway check if port personality match on bot ends and post the output of

show int x

where x is the offending interface
