a question for u...
if my switch hp 4000m crash and block, i can access with serial link for reboot it or i do unplug the connector for power down it?

there are two ways to do that, either just pull the plug(s) (it might have two power supplys) or much easier, there is a reset button next to the serial port, use a paperclip etc. and that will solve your issue.
After the swich reboots, make sure you have the latest firmware installed (www.hp.com/rnd)and have a look at the event log, that might give you a clue why it crashed.

Additional: I'd say do not pull the power. This will cause the switch logs to disappear, pressing reset should do just fine. If the switch doesn't reset with pressing the button, call support, there's a problem.

After you get it back up you should check and see what version of software you are running. Early version of the code are prone to crashes. You should be at C.09.16 if not get it at:
