Re: reg: Config details for Hp procurve switch 3500 switch
please clarify the question
creating vlans is only L2!
you use L3 (router) function of a switch to make the vlan's communicate with eachother for tcp/ip traffic.
IP-based vlans? never heard of it.
you can asign dynamic vlan's based on MAC-adresses, or you can use NAC (network admission control) to assign vlans based on account used to login to the network.

Re: reg: Config details for Hp procurve switch 3500 switch
IP based Vlan means if any machine connects to L2 switch we needs to assign a LVlan in l2 switch ie. this port is belongs to this vlan. But ZI dont want this, i need if any PC any vlan can connect any of the ports in L2 switch, its needs to work with out assigning the port in l2.
