sh run irritation

Hi all

This is more an irritation than a problem, but when I do a sh run the vlans appear in the order I created them and not in ascending order. Is there a way to re-order the vlans without removing them all and creating them in order?

Thanks a bunch

Re: sh run irritation

Use a "show vlans" instead?

Re: sh run irritation

Interesting.. I've never noticed that before. The only way to re-order them in your config would be to either recreate them as you've said, or download your config, make the changes in a text editor and then upload the config again.

copy running-config tftp config.txt

and then

copy tftp startup-config config.txt

I will probably do that once we have the sign off on the network. Right now there are too many changes going on.

Thanks for the help.

Re: sh run irritation

save the config and do a "show startup-config"?
