slow connection when connecting with broadcom gigabit adapter
I don't know if this belongs in this thread or not but it's a start. I recently began upgrading my users from very old home built PCs to company standard hp/compaq desktops. Everyone that has received a new desktop that has the broadcom gigabit adapter. I've tried everything from forcing it to 100MB full duplex on NIC, Server and the port on our Cisco 2950 switch. Yet the user still insists that his old computer accessed network files faster...does anyone have any suggestions?

Read all posts from the URL below to get an image of what's happening to DELL computers (not only PowerEdge servers, but also Optiplex PCs).
