Re: switch 4000m crash every day
Hi,
First advice is to understand why it crashes...
Does it happen at night ?
Try to unplug one by one each PC, one everyday, and you will see which make it crash.
Then let us know the configuration on your PC and on the switch configuration.
Toptools was made for these switch, I do not know any better program for them... (and I am not paid by HP !)
Let us know if explanations are not clear for you.

Re: switch 4000m crash every day
What version of code do you have in your 4000m? You should be running the latest version which is C.09.16. You can get it at:
http://www.hp.com/rnd/software/switches.htm
If that doesn't help I'd look into getting it replaced. HP 4000M switches are guaranteed for life (assuming you are the original purchaser). http://www.hp.com/rnd/support/warranty/index.htm
