the problem and the right switch! ;)

ok i have a interesting issue i have 150+ x6 cat cables running into my new comms room! the only problem is whats gona be the best switches for the job i have been looking at a few and i feel like a kid in a candy store about to have a diabetic attack!

i have been looking at the 48port HP A5120-48G EI just not sure.. any ideas?

Depends on what you want to do.. There are many to choose from - right now the best in class IMHO seems to be EX4200-48T from Juniper. You can stack it to 480 ports without sweat.

We've been using 5406 a lot - with not very great success. At all.
