ofcourse we can try to help, but need mor information about what you allready did or did not do.
and offcourse what's the problem?
what are you trying to achieve?
how do you conclude "it does not work"?

It will also help if you attach the running config of the GbE2c

Re: vlan on a GbE2c Layer 2/3 Ethernet Blade Switch

hi, thanks for the reply.
ok, what i wish to accomplish is:
1. setup a dmz scanario
2. an imaging scenario, one nic for a totally different ip range and one for our production network
3. vmotion scenario

i logged onto the switch management web interface and created a new vlan group and called it ghost, cos we use symantec ghost, assigned the port to that vlan group, saved the config, from the server tried to ping a pc with the same ip range as the ghost range should be and get destination host cannot be reached messages, i tried to ping the ghost network from our office network and i couldnt so at least that part worked.
