3com 4200G 24port can't login to use recovery.

Hi I just purchased a used 3com 4200G 24 port switch and as far as switching goes it works but I really would like to get into the webgui or just assign an ip so i can ssh or telnet in but I don't have the rj-45 to 9 pin console cable I used the pin out to try and make one but it did not work.  Is there a way to reset back to factory defaults with out it?  If not where can I get the console cable for it?

I followed the pin out exactly but I had the 9th pin on the serial side left over it said it went to shell but idk what that is.

Does anyone know the part number for the rj-45 to 9 pin console cable?
