HP 16 Port Console Server

I have a 16 port console server and cannot access the "Console Port" on the server. I purchased this as a refurb and it came with no console cable. I have tried an HP Procurve console cable, I have tried a Cisco cable, I have tried all different types of connections. I have even purchased a Multi-Vendor cable and that is supposed to work with HP and I still cannot access the console port.
Could someone please let me know what Console cable can be used with this Console Server: Part number is: 376582-001.
