4gb Fiber Cards on 11.11

So I have a new system which came with 11.23 and 4gb PCI-X fiber cards. We Ignited with an 11.11 image so it would match other servers. Now my 4gb cards are Unclaimed.

Per http://docs.hp.com/en/J6374-90072/ar01s06.html, I installed:

PHKL_34161
PHKL_36806 (supersedes required 28569)
PHKL_36133 (supersedes required 28695)
PHKL_34930 (supersedes required 30067)

PHSS_34835 (supersedes required 33918) wouldn't install because it only updates stm v 11.11.16, and I have stm v 11.11.20 installed.

What I can't seem to find is:
Driver FibrChanl-00 (td) version B.11.11.16 or later for HP-UX 11i v1 (needed for SNIA-API)

I found FibrChanl-01, but not 00.

Any suggestions?

Right, I have this one already, but the manual says 01 won't work without 00 first being installed. I installed this anyway and sure enough, my cards are still unclaimed.

Thanks for the links! Ok, I installed the most recent 00, then went back and reinstalled the 01 component. After rebooting, I perform an ioscan -f and insf -e, and still, the cards are Unclaimed.

The swagent log says that the fiber card driver is complaining about 28569 and 23626 not being installed, though I did install the patches which suspersede those two. Why does it not recognize them?

chk swlist if it has got installed sucessfully

Also run swverify and check the same

Verification succeeded on both 00 and 01.

Maybe the 00 driver link above does not support this card.

now we know the part number of the card it might help abit more.

the latestd river listed for your card on the bus support site is B.11.11.13 for that card for 11.11.

what was the version of the 01 driver you installed? maybe this wasnt new enough.

Also is the system not fully patched upto date?

you would probably be better off installing the latest quarterly patch bundle set first and try and bring the system upto date if possible
