Re: A little problem ..

Hi,
Before you convert do the following:
- pwck
- grpck

To convert the system into trusted system the command is :
/usr/lbin/tsconvert

After converting it will create a directory /tcb/files/auth/*/*
Note: before converting into trusted system you have to modify /etc/nsswitch.conf file. In that file ├в passwd compact ├в has to be changed into ├в passwd files├в

To unconvert the trusted system with the following command:
/usr/lbin/tsconvert ├в r

GoodLuck

Re: A little problem ..

On 11.23 I can access via

SAM Auditing and Security ->
SAM System Security Policies

Re: A little problem ..

SAM > Auditing and Security > System Security Policies

It will display a pop-up window telling you that you need to convert to a trusted system, click on the yes button and SAM will do the conversion for you.

Re: A little problem ..

And yes, you can do this manually using the tsconvert command but this will expire all the passwords on you and you'll have to reset them with the modprpw command. If you use sam it will take care of this automatically.
