Adding a printer model script

Hello All,

I've just replaced an old server that was using printer model script net_lj4x. Do you know where I can get that for the new server?

Thanks,

Re: Adding a printer model script

It is probably already on your new server.

look in /usr/lib/lp/model/

Just about all the laserjet models are the same...

Re: Adding a printer model script

I found it under /opt/hpnpl/sh/net_lj4x

I wonder why it's not showing up in my list while adding a printer?

Re: Adding a printer model script

if you execute

addqueue -l

it will list the model scripts registered with the jetdirect printer util..

You can always add the printer with any model and then just copy the model script you like to /etc/lp/interface/PRINTER_NAME
