Hi Guys anybody know how to
I want to know hot to set alert message, when disk goes to failed or Error to the particular useid and which file we have to edit. Pls replay for the same

EMS, which is configurable from sam on 11.11 and 11.23 can be configured to send alerts via email.

All you need to do is forward sendmail to actually forward mail to a smtp relay server.

Try launching SAM or SMH.
Everuthing should be there.

I don't know what you mean by the above. The EMS system the above doc point to don't care about Veritas / OVO, they monitor the health of the disk itself.

You might try explaining what it is you want to do, rather than how you think you want to do it.
