Anyone have experience installing PSP from the Smartstart CD on Centos 5?

I have installed Centos 5 on a DL 380 G5 and now wants to install the PSP on the machine? Anyone have any experience to share?

I am interested in the Smart Array management and the SHM. Will I be able to monitor the server temperature via SNMP after install the PSP?

Shalom,

PSP is designed with Red Hat Operating system in mind. Now I know that Centos is a binary copy but we're talking about some very specific stuff here.

I believe most PSP functionality will probably work after a PSP install. If the install doesn't figure out what you are trying to do and stop you.

As far as support from HP goes, not so much unlesss CentOS is specifically listed.

I never install the whole PSP on any server, but I've installed the monitoring agents and array utilities on CentOS without any problems. Change /etc/redhat-release while you install and configure, then put it back afterwards.
