Application installation issue.


1 How do i set permanant PATH?

2 How to set "LICENSE_FILE=7788@host1"?. [This is for Hyperworks application.]

3 How to enable a port number?

4 Which is the common ".profile" file and where it will be?

I am using HP unix 11.11.

Hi,

1.- Modify /etc/PATH file

2.- Add entry to /etc/profile file

3.- Add port to /etc/services file

4.- /etc/profile and $HOME/username/.profile
