Audit log is not generate by user activity.

I have enable audit service and audit file is generate.

But problem is that when root user do something (like as file create , delete), it don't show in audit file.

Is there need the system is trusted or not ?

Mention that here OS is HP-UX 11.31 and untrusted system.

Hi All,

Thanks to response for this issue.

Now user activity is shown in audit log . 

But now it needs to generate report for compliance issue using all audit log file or spcefile file(4/5 files).

So please assist how to generate report.

You can review the audit logs using "audisp" command.

check the man page for "audisp" for more details.

If you want to retain the audit logs for a certain number you must write a script and run it using cron.
