BTCREATE / BTEXTRACT
Hi,
I'm done with btcreate on my tru64 box ( ES40 ) running tru64 unix 5.1
Now i want to boot thru this tape and without overwriting any disk labels or doing something destructive, would just want to mount one of the filesystems in a data disk and just backup that up in another tape using another tape drive.
I have 2 DLT drives attached to this ES40.
Help please..
Thanks
Srivathsan

Re: BTCREATE / BTEXTRACT
# apropos btcreate
or
read the admin guide.
Booting is well documented on both pointers.
Btw. if reading the documentation will explain that boot process is a 2 way process: boot and recover
