Backup and restoring data in a new 300GB hard disk on rx2620 integrity server

Hi,

We have one unit of HP Integrity rx2620 server that running on hp-ux 11i version 2. The server already pre-loaded with os that running on single 72GB HDD.
Question 1, can i backup the os on 72GB HDD and them restore back the data into 2 unit of 300GB HDD.

We plan to purchased new smart array controller refer P/N-A9890A and them install into rx2620 machine.
Question 2, can the new raid controller card support on hardware raid 1.

Backup your OS with ignite to tape, install the SA640x controller, configure the logical drive and restore the OS.
