Bailing out of boot on a K class

I know there's a way to "bail out" of booting a K when it's stuck in a busy-wait, but I'll be darned if I can remember the key sequence. Control... something...

Thanks,
eileen

Re: Bailing out of boot on a K class

Hi,

should put you on the boot prompt where you can issue a number of commands (bo for boot, ...)

Hope this is what you're looking for.

OR

Cntrl and the Pipe sign? That translates to:
Ctrl {shift key}

Control-Shift-Pipe

May also try the BREAK key on the keyboard

Re: Bailing out of boot on a K class

Eileen:

I believe that you will need to enable the ability to issue the CTRL_b by setting the key switch to SERVICE mode on a K-Server. On a D-box there is a small black slide switch on the back of the server that arms the same functionality.

The -key works for me.
